Know someone who's always wanted a go on a pottery wheel?
We are now teaching taster throwing classes for beginners in our new throwing studio! This one off session will allow the lucky person to make two pieces on the wheel, taught step-by-step by our in-house potter, Caitlin. The voucher will cover a throwing session and all materials and firings for the piece to be clear-glazed, ready to take home a few weeks later.
Gift vouchers won't expire and will be able to be applied to any of our throwing classes on the timetable. Go on, give yourself or a friend something to look forward to!
What You'll get:
- £45 includes all materials and firings to make 2 small pots. Pots will be clear glazed.
- The workshop will last 1.5-2 hours depending on how many other people are attending.
- After the workshop we will keep the pots for approx 2 weeks to dry and have their first (bisque) firing in the kiln, followed by their second (glaze) firing. Then come in and collect your finished piece! An option of painting the pots will be offered on the day for a charge of £10 for a painting session.
