Booking policies:

Large adult group:

For a group of 9+ adults, we require an £18 per person prepayment which covers one standard item per person. Any costs accrued over this can be paid on the day at the end of the session.

Children’s parties:

For a group of 7-14 children celebrating a birthday, we run these sessions on a Sunday morning from 11:30am-1pm and require a flat £250 fee to be paid at point of booking. This guarantees each child one item each, and the whole of our second studio to yourselves. Please note these sessions are only eligible for children between ages 8 and 14. We do not allow food in the studio, but soft drinks are welcome.

Charity groups:

Charities are eligible for a discounted booking session, where we charge £20 per table pre-payment, plus an additional 20% off at the end of the session

People with accessibility needs including service animals:

Service animals are welcome in shop. Please let us know of any accessibility needs you may have when booking, so we can best accommodate you where possible

Baby prints/impression sessions/bringing a buggy:

We need to ensure we have the appropriate members of staff on to assist with any baby session, and to adhere to our policy regarding maximum numbers of babies in the building at any one time. Likewise with bringing a buggy, we need to ensure we can safely accommodate everyone.

Throwing on the wheel/hand building clay sessions

Please head to our ‘clay classes’ page to see all our available sessions. We take full payment over the phone at the point of booking, with throwing sessions being £45 for one person/£70 for two. Likewise with hand building sessions, but these will be priced independently.

Please phone 0131 229 1399 for more information and to book in with us. Thank you.

Cancellation policy: For all reservations we require your debit/credit card details. We request a minimum of 24 hours notice for cancellations or amendments to your booking. In the case of a no-show or improper notification of changes, we reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee of £10 per person. Unfortunately no-shows have become more frequent and as a small independent business this impacts us greatly which is why we have found it necessary to implement this charge. Thank you for your understanding.

Pet/Dog Policy: Please don't bring pets with you, as we may have other customers with allergies. If you need to be accompanied by an assistance animal or would like to do a pet-paw imprint, please phone us so we can make special arrangements to accommodate this.

BYOB Policy: We are BYOB-friendly with no corkage fee. Please note we cannot provide you with any glassware or cups so we recommend bringing your own.

Food Policy:  We respectfully request that no food is brought into the workshop. This is to avoid any cross contamination of sensitive glazes and materials.

Your reservation books your space for 2 hours. Please arrive at the start of the slot you have booked ready to begin your session, and phone to notify us if you are running late. Please note if you are more than 30 minutes late your booking will be automatically cancelled and a no show charge of £10 per person booked will be applied. Bookings cannot be extended beyond the 2 hour slot as another booking will follow yours. Please book seats for all members of your group, including anyone who is attending in a supervisory capacity and not intending to paint an item themselves.
