TAKE HOME KITS
PLEASE READ
You do
NOT need to email or call in advance to get a take home kit. We'd prefer if you came to the shop and picked your items and colours on the day. Please be aware that it can take us up to half an hour to get your kit ready. We recommend coming in on weekdays when we will have more staff available to help you. Our weekends get very busy so there will likely be a longer wait on these days.

HOW IT WORKS
COME TO OUR WORKSHOP
We recommend the best way to pick your take home kit is to come to our shop in Marchmont and choose your items and colours from the selection we have in store as our stock changes monthly.
You don't need to call in advance, just pop by anytime. It can take up to half an hour
to get your kit ready, especially on our busiest days (Sat and Sun).
CHOOSE YOUR ITEMS AND PAINTS
Take a look at our selection of pottery and a selection of paints in shop and pick whatever takes your fancy, there is no limit!
We provide a handy instruction sheet of dos and don'ts in your kit to help.
Note: we cannot provide easy-writers, speckled paint, sugar pens or etching tools in take home kits.
We do not provide brushes in your kit but have them available to purchase in shop (£5 for x 3)
TAKE YOUR KIT HOME
Once you have chosen everything, you pay at the shop and then take your items home to paint.
DROP OFF FOR FIRING
Once you have completed your masterpiece, just drop off your pottery to be fired anytime during our opening hours.
We ask that you also return your paints to us at this point.
PICK UP YOUR PIECE
Your piece will be ready to collect a week later. Just pop in to collect it when you can!

We have lots of items for you to choose from, just take a look below for a guide to prices! Our stock varies a lot based on availability, so expect to see a wide variety. All of our ceramics in the shop will have individual prices written on them in a pen that disappears in the kiln and these prices include all the paints, glazes and kiln firings.

If you are looking for something specific in particular, a member of staff will be more than happy to help you when you come in to choose.

•Simply take note of the colour numbers you would like, while in store from the choices there is available.
•Please return your paint pots and brushes (if requested) when you drop your painted pottery off to be fired. We will sanitise these, ready for the next kit!

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
•All orders can be made in shop at Doodles Ceramics Workshop in Marchmont, EH9 1HQ
•Collection will be from the workshop, we are open 7 days a week. Payment can be made by cash or contactless card machine on the day.
•We are happy to provide all that you need, however if you have your own brushes or mini containers we are delighted if you want to use them.
