Weekend Long Classes

Get stuck in with these "no experience needed" pottery wheel workshops.

Our in-house potter Caitlin will be on hand throughout the whole process, whether it's your first time on the wheel or you're ready to take the next steps in refining your pottery skills! We offer both taster classes for those just wanting to give it a try and weekend-long throwing workshops for the basics from start to finish of making!

Saturday & Sunday | May 30th & 31st

Make a bowl, mug and plate to take home.
11am-3pm each day. 

£220 per person

Includes tea and coffee and a 30 minute break for lunch

(lunch not provided).
You must be available to attend on both consecutive days

 to book in. 

Ages 18+ only.
All levels welcome.

INTRODUCTION TO THROWING WEEKEND COURSE INFORMATION

Join resident potter Caitlin for a weekend-long course introducing you to the basics of throwing pottery on the wheel. Caitlin will take you through various techniques to teach you how to centre the clay, make, shape and trim your pots, attaching handles to pieces. 

The final three chosen items will be fired and glazed using a choice of coloured or plain glazes provided. Alternatively, you can come back for a second session to paint your thrown pots. 

Includes all materials and firings for your final 3 pieces.
Additional pieces can be glazed and fired for an additional fee dependant on size.
Each attendee will use their own dedicated wheel with lots of practice time.
There are 3 spaces per weekend course available. The course will take place when two or more spaces are booked in.
No previous experience needed.
All items will be ready to collect 8 weeks later.

CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY

 If given 8 or more days notice we can either reschedule, refund or generate a gift code for rebooking your class. 

 If 7 days or less notice is given due to illness, or for any other reason, unfortunately we cannot reschedule or refund the session.The place will remain yours to gift to a friend or family member. Please call to arrange the change of name in this instance.

 We regret we will not be able to replace or rearrange missed sessions. 

We retain the right to cancel the class last minute in unforeseen circumstances.The class will go ahead with two or more participants only. All sessions in this instance will be rearranged or a refund issued if rearrangement is not possible.
